owenhatherley DrAshleyNova I grew up in a time when it was illegal to learn about homosexuality in school and where I was called homophobic slurs a few times a day. Seeing how much things have changed for the better in the generations since gives me hope and strength to continue.
  20. This might seem silly, but I like that HIPhysics titles and positions aren’t on the door, just peoples’ full names. Everyone – from PhD students to the director – just their name. I think it helps make the place feel more equal. #WeAreHelsinkiUni
