jasmineparticle 2) I think the answer is 'no'... speaking strictly about the simulations rather than broader physical context, there is no backreaction from gravity onto the hydrodynamics, so any strong gravity physics cannot be modelled. GWs are simulated as (small) metric perturbations. 2/2
