      jasmineparticle Thanks for the questions! 1) What sort of GWs do you have in mind? There are those produced by the imprint of quantum fluctuations, as seen in the CMB, but perhaps you are referring to other processes? 1/2

    jasmineparticle 2) I think the answer is 'no'... speaking strictly about the simulations rather than broader physical context, there is no backreaction from gravity onto the hydrodynamics, so any strong gravity physics cannot be modelled. GWs are simulated as (small) metric perturbations. 2/2
