And then hybrid/fully online for major conferences so people from beyond Europe/US can communicate their work to a wide audience.

arjvuori rothkopfAK ConfXiv UniStavanger cosmofromhome I think many major conferences this year are missing the point of hybrid/online: it's an equity measure for people who can't travel or can't afford to travel as much as a covid mitigation measure. And it reduces the carbon footprint of academic travel.
