        seis_matters helenczerski brennawalks IanMBrooks RippethT UKRI_CEO When I was in the process of getting my ERF (STFC 5-year fellowship), it was clear which universities treated advanced fellows as cheap, non-permanent labour (such as a certain establishment in SK) and which would actually support fellows, like Nottingham where I ended up.

      seis_matters helenczerski brennawalks IanMBrooks RippethT UKRI_CEO At a careers day in Swindon a previous fellow said basically, if you don't get a proleptic contract within a few months of starting, you need to change your host pronto, certainly in the first 1-2 years.
