To be honest, I've never found having cameras off when lecturing to be a problem (when using my tablet to write in Teams, all I can see on my computer is a copy of my tablet anyway). Even when working with small groups, honestly, I don't need to see what they look like as long as I can hear them and view their slides. I grew up chatting to people online on IRC in the 1990s and early 2000s. Sound and vision are still luxuries to me and not essential to trust.
