On the origin myth of scientific culture: “Science’s self-image presents a myth about who ‘our kind’ of people are and about what destiny nature and scientific rationality hold in store for us.” (p36) Seriously, every (cis male) physicist should read this book.

I got as far as chapter 3, but then it had to go back to the library, here it is travelling along the conveyor at oodihelsinki. Luckily I found a copy through Biblio at books_heron, as I think this is a topic I will be returning to a lot.
