ASleepyWanderer I studied French in school and uni. Before I neglected it in favour of Finnish I was around B1/low B2. I found (still find) it very hard to remember which gender belongs to which. Learning Finnish, which is genderless but has lots of noun conjugation classes, was somehow easier.
