    BWJones MattHourihan In particular, I think there is a lack of postdocs with suitable training in the numerical and computational skills my subfield needs. I've decided to focus on training people before and during their PhDs instead.

      BWJones MattHourihan Getting computer time isn't really a problem, but I do wish there was less of a focus on CPUh as somehow a measure of 'quality' like funding money is in other contexts. I would rather do more science with less computer time. It's more environmentally friendly.
