    KennethRuud seis_matters I've never organised anything so big, but for something 10% the size (indico.in2p3.fr/event/16923/) we had some support from a foundation and could afford to have free registration, support travel and accommodation for those that needed it, and got by with existing admin support. 1/2

      KennethRuud seis_matters Maybe large conferences just don't work for me? Perhaps I don't see the value; I don't get much out of them. Anyway, transparency on how the fee is spent is all I'm asking for. We reported back to our funders for that workshop. If attendees pay, they should expect the same. 2/2
