      The victim was supported in the incident I witnessed, but how many such incidents go unseen or without support? From the perspective of an ally, it’s not different here. It’s the same as anywhere else.

    I didn't feel empowered to speak out myself, because my Finnish, while fluent enough to understand the nuances (or lack thereof), is not fluent enough to call someone out. I think that improving my own Finnish is, ironically, one of the ways in which I need to do better.
