    WikiWomenInRed jesswade wikiscientists MIT Wikipedia Science_Grrl 500womensci Wikipedia matters to me very much, and I’ve interacted “behind the scenes” for the first time on the AfD page for this, and the ANI entry for the nominator. All the jargon raises the barrier to contributing (despite “be bold”) and also I don’t think the atmosphere was collegial.

I respect jesswade and others even more for their level-headed perseverance. It’s amazing. But I guess I’ll stay in my lane of translating articles of Finnish women scientists...
