    HABrazeau Short answer: no. Long answer: I know it's a different field, but I often submit to and review for PhysRevD which allows 4 weeks before a referee reminder, and PhysRevLett which is 2 weeks. The full-time editorial staff usually do their part within 1 working day.

      HABrazeau PhysRevD PhysRevLett Which is to say that the referee – if they are not aware that the changes are minor, or well-explained – could put it off until the reminder.
