antarcticdesign As I understand it one of the perceived problems with arxiv.org/abs/1706.04191 was that their analysis didn't deal with the finite duration of the samples when Fourier transforming (see e.g. preposterousuniverse.com/blog/2017/06/18/a-response-to-on-the-time-lags-of-the-ligo-signals-guest-post/). I'm not in LIGO but I honestly doubt they are hiding anything.
